The free GPS by the same company on my phone does provide directions. There have been numerous complaints about this to both the dealer and Nissan with no resolution.

In the mountainous area I live in that causes the driver to take their eyes off the road to look at the map. "There are many roads that are over 20 years old that show up on the map but the GPS does not provide voice guidance for them. New cars should have a better system than this" "hard to use, doesn't play well with Iphone, old tech. Brake switch failure and firmware upgrade" Warranty covered the replacement at dealership, it took a week to get my car back." The entire transmission control unit had to be replaced when the car was less than a year old, which means it was a design or manufacturing/assemble issue. "Frequent (every other day) choppy gear shifting as if transmission went into a lower gear and seeming loss of power at lower speed. This is NOT good if an evasive maneuver is required." "When trying to accelerate the engine would rev but the transmission would chunk along until it caught then it would respond. "Had to pay for a new transmission at 65000 Nissian needs to extend the warranty on the replacement and not charge for a new transmission when there is obviously a problem" Problem remained until Nissan admitted that model of transmission was faulty" Dealerships just said the computer need to be calibrated. "From the day I owned the vehicle I reported rough & improper shifting. The transmission briefly went into sleep mode so while at dealer the problem couldn't be recreated but while on mechanic overnight test drive, the notice the shifting and said that could be early stages of transmission issues." I get a sluggish shift off and on at 20 mph range when cold. "The rough shifting and sensor are possbily related to the cvt transmission. I get to dump this car in a year and can't wait" "Windy response is noticeable and irritating after a while. There doesn't seem to be anything loose, but we've been unable to discover/fix the rattle." "There is a noise coming from the passenger side door area. "Sun roof cover squeaks incessantly, not loud but we find ourselves frequently wedging a foreign object into the cover to eliminate the squeaking." "local dealer found source of squeak, a loose underbody bracket, and fixed it under the warranty." Reminds me of my 1968 Ford with a 428 cu in engine" "Very noisy out of the rear portion of this auto. (2015 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum 3.5-L V6) The dealership’s response is the grease the doors which does nothing."
Also when the weather gets cold the door do not close unless you slam them very hard.
"Weather stripping comes loose and flaps around in the wind when driving. Currently there is a similar sound (rubber in wind) that I can't tell if it's the luggage rack stripping again or maybe the door stripping" "The stripping associated with the luggage rack came loose and had to be reinstalled. Also while driving sunroof has wind noise so cover needs to be closed while driving"
